Since 1955, the Binghamton Philharmonic has been presenting live classical, pops and chamber music concerts to thousands of residents in the Binghamton area. When they asked Iron in 2007 to update their outward facing marketing and identity, we were happy help. We began by creating a new ‘B Clef’ logo and brand to help appeal to a younger demographic who may not be as engaged with the philharmonic. For several new seasons we developed a fresh design treatment that reflected the energy of the new series of artists. We then rolled out the season’s design to their season program brochure, event postcards, exterior building banners, web ads and newspaper ads. We also developed their website and new back-end admin tool to help them manage the content in-house.
